Starting his working life at sea, Steve quickly progressed into team leader and charge hand roles, managing complex international projects and ensuring they were delivered on time and to the highest standard.

His career has since developed across both the marine and construction sectors, giving him a broad practical understanding of project delivery, leadership and the importance of maintaining high standards from start to finish.

As Managing Director for the past four years, Steve has combined his practical expertise with a clear vision for growth and teamwork. His leadership approach is centred around respect, empathy and collaboration, creating an environment where people are supported and encouraged to deliver their best work.

Steve holds an NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, along with PASMA certification, reflecting his commitment to professional standards, safety and continued development within the construction industry.

Entrepreneurial Journey

Steve's success is also shaped by his entrepreneurial spirit. Before joining Jigsaw Construction, he previously ran a thriving construction company in the commercial sector, gaining valuable experience in managing a business as well as delivering projects.

This experience continues to influence his approach at Jigsaw Construction, where he is focused on building a company recognised for reliability, quality and innovation while continuing to develop its reputation within the industry.

Outside of his professional life, Steve is a keen golfer and a passionate Portsmouth FC supporter. He also dedicates time to coaching his son's youth football team, where teamwork and commitment are values that he carries into both his work and personal life.
